Becoming a partner with the Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley through your contribution is a great way to ensure program success here in your community. As the volunteers, organizations and service recipients are here in Silicon Vally, your financial support is guaranteed to be used where it matters to you...In your community and close to home.


    The Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley provides vital community building services. Most of our services are provided to members of the community free of charge and serve as an important resource to more than 1000 different non-profit organizations throughout Santa Clara County.

    Whether supported through a one-time contribution or a planned contribution, all of our programs and services are made possible through the commitment and generosity of people like you. Your contribution is important, ensuring that we will continue to be able to provide these services for years to come.

One Time Contribution

    You can make a secure Credit Card contribution online through our website. The process is fast and easy. Simply click Contribute Online, provide your credit card information, and your contribution will be automatically processed through a secure connection protected and facilitated by either Paypal or Verisign, two of the premier online e-commerce solutions.

Stock Contribution

    An exciting way to make a contribution is to transfer stocks to the Volunteer Center. If you would like to make a stock contribution, please contact us at (408) 247-1126.


Planned Contributions

    Planned contributions include gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, gift life insurance pooled income funds and charitable trusts.

Bequest
    You can support the Volunteer Center by naming the Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley in your will.

Life Income Gift
    You irrevocably transfer some assets to the Volunteer Center now, and in return (you and a survivor, if you wish) receive income for life.

Gift of Life Insurance
    If you or loved ones no longer have need of life insurance policies purchased years ago, you can donate the policy to the Volunteer Center.

Pooled Income Fund
    Your gift of money, marketable securities, or both is invested together with similar gifts from other contributors.

Charitable Lead Trust
    Individuals with very large estates can use a charitable lead trust to benefit the Volunteer Center and pass the principle to family members with little or no tax penalty.

Gifts of Retirement Plans
    Your IRA assets will be transferred to a charitable trust. The trust will provide life income to the beneficiary, and then and eventual gift to the Volunteer Center.
